Structshop can prepare precast concrete detail drawings. The use of precast panels has become a very common construction technique and is the most common way that commercial properties are built.
During a structural steel detailing project, the precast panels can be incorporated into our 3D structural steel model to ensure the best outcome is achieved on site. We are then able to produce detail drawings of the panels in preparation for their manufacture, on site or off site.
We work with Tekla Structures for all our 3D modelling outputs and are able to provide 2D panel drawings including showing the reinforcement requirements, ferrule arrangements and cast-in items.
The panel drawings are created directly from the very detailed model. This means that any changes made in the model automatically update all the other necessary documents or data. This ensures all the deliverables are always accurate and up to date.
